The *GOB asks the *supressió of several *trams of the Path of the Littoral projected by Coasts. This project has *sofert important modifications in positive concerning the presented does some years, but remain some worrisome aspects since the environmental point of view.

When the May of 2002, during the ministerial period of Jaume *Matas, the General Direction of Coasts exposed to the public the first project of Path of the Littoral, many entities and particular alleged against, because it represented an environmental assault of first order in zones of littoral virgin. The *itinerari that proposed build as a result of coast ignored the existence of the Path of Horses and foresaw some interventions that had transformed totally the natural landscape of the south coast of Citadel.

Big part of the allegations seem to have accepted in the nine project that finds at present to public exhibition to the Demarcation of Coasts. They have disappeared most of infrastructures that affected the zones *dunars or that altered significantly the landscape and in almost all the layout coincides with the Path of Horses. This no *obstant, remain important questions that have motivated that the *GOB have presented new allegations.

The spirit of the Law of Coasts is the one of the protection of the spaces protected, and his articulated allow restrictions in the step when treat of zones protected. This is also the vision of the *GOB, that considers that it is necessary to order with a lot of care the step of people inwardly the sensitive zones, to avoid go in in zones of breeds of fauna or in vegetal communities very fragile. It does not have to forget that *Menorca receives one million tourists every year and that it is very predictable that the activities of hiking go increasing in the next times.

In front of this situation, the bet of the *GOB has been the one of the Path of Horses, a *senda historical that *transcorre of intelligent way for the territory and that, therefore, is well integrated. But *duplicar paths in these spaces protected is not any *recomanable, because they can prejudice seriously natural values of big importance.

With these reasonings, the *GOB has asked that they suppress the *trams of path of littoral between Creek in *Turqueta and *Macarella (the Path of Horses already carries directly of a beach to the other), between Creek *Galdana and *Binigaus (this part has initiated his statement as a Natural Park and does not have felt to open new paths before it do the *ordenació of the Park), and between Saint Tomàs and #Son Bou. Also asks that they close the five oriels *previstos between *Macarella and Creek *Galdana (would suffice to leave one).

Conversely, see very positive the performances of delimitation of the systems *dunars with *pilones and ropes, that do not cause impact *paisatgístic and that contribute to preserve the dunes of the step *indiscriminat of people. The *GOB asks that the step do always for the zone of beach and never on the dunes.

It proposes , likewise, that the *passarel·les of firewood only install in the zones of beach *urbanitzades (how the case of the beach of #Son Bou in his *tram of in front of the hotels), that install high portholes and tightened to avoid the step of motorbikes but allow the step on foot (and, as the *trams, to horse), that *clausurin other existent paths in the public command and that the new *trams of wall leave to the small base steps for the fauna *silvestre.

The *GOB trusts how Coasts incorporate also this time the environmental suggestions that do him (how in several occasions coincide with the own study of environmental impact that accompanies the project) and that the Path of the Littoral was not an assault to the medium but a way to coordinate performances between administrations and achieve order adequately an only step, *coincident with the Path of Horses, that allow to enjoy nature and culture without putting in danger the environmental values that give attractive to the littoral *menorquí.
